FAQs regarding internships, theses/dissertations and temporary jobs
Yes, we offer the chance to complete a trial internship with us every week. You can either complete this as a school internship in the context of career orientation, or as a voluntary internship during the school vacation. It is important to note that only a limited number of internships are available each week. If you are interested, it is best to call us directly and reserve an internship in your favored time period, or apply directly online.
We regularly offer university students the opportunity to complete theses and practical semesters in different company divisions. This also applies to technical school students and the completion of their dissertations. You can gain an initial insight into the EBZ Group and its fields of activity in the context of a thesis/dissertation or a practical semester. Options in this respect are provided by, for example, our Technology and Innovation Center, or in the areas of planning, design and project management in Germany – but also internationally at our customers’ facilities. The duration depends on the guidelines of the respective university or school regulations. You can find all our thesis/dissertation and practical semester places on our career website. Naturally enough, we are always happy to receive a compelling and informative application from you, unsolicited and at any time.
We offer regular working student activities which allow students to participate in exciting projects parallel to their studies or their technical school and simultaneously earn money. Working hours for working students are between 10 and 20 hours a week during the semester, and full-time working hours are possible during semester vacations. The weekly working hours are agreed individually with you and the respective technical department.
We primarily look for students in engineering fields such as electrical engineering, automation, production technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, engineering management, computer science, and comparable fields of study. We also offer theses, practical semesters and working student activities in other fields of study in individual cases.
To support our technical departments in engineering and production, we regularly offer high school students, school leavers and college students vacation jobs in the period from July to September, providing you with the opportunity to gain practical experience of everyday working life and, also, earn money. You should be at least 16 years of age and have at least 3 weeks at your disposal, although we are happy to arrange longer periods.
There are, in principle, no fixed application periods for theses/dissertations, practical semesters and working student activities. This means you are welcome to apply to us at any time. You can apply up until the end of May for a temporary or vacation job in the summer months. Please indicate your preferred deployment period. You can apply online or through our job portal. Please send us your cover letter, résumé, appropriate references and, in the case of theses and practical semesters, the examination regulations of the university. You can upload these documents quite easily using the application form.
