During your practical phases, you will familiarize yourself with the entire engineering process from the planning and design stages to simulation. Your main focus will be on the customer and production-specific design of equipment. For this reason, this study program will equip you with the knowledge required to use common design and planning systems confidently in everyday professional life. Right from the outset, you will work as part of our team on exciting projects for our customers, creating the perfect basis for a successful career launch at EBZ.
Training and educational content at EBZ:
- Fundamentals of metalworking
- Handling of design programs such as CATIA V5 and Siemens NX and the creation of production designs and technical drawings
- Planning of manufacturing plants, taking customer specifications, scheduling, costs and quality into consideration
- Creation of plant layouts with the aid of planning tools such as MicroStation
- Creation of 3D robot simulations and conducting of cycle time analyses and accessibility investigations
- Preparation of practical dissertations and the bachelor thesis in the product area

- Design
- Production technology
- Technical mechanics and strength of materials
